Who owns the pipe between the street and my house?
In most Massachusetts towns, the property owner owns the service line from the main (or the curb stop) all the way to the house — water and sewer both. If it fails, it's yours to fix. That's the work we do every day.
Do I need to call Dig Safe, or do you?
We do. We file the 811 ticket, meet the locators, and hand-dig within the tolerance zone of every marked utility. We never put a bucket in the ground without a valid ticket.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes — street-opening permits, trench permits, board of health coordination for septic, and scheduling the town inspector. It's built into the price, not an extra.
What if it's an emergency?
Call the line any hour. Water surfacing in the yard, sewage backing up, a trench that opened where it shouldn't — we dispatch a crew and a machine, typically on site within hours.
Are estimates really free?
Yes. We walk the site, mark the run, and hand you a written number. No fee, no obligation, and the number doesn't move unless the scope does.
